1. An electronic or paper copy of GATE result is not valid for admission.
2. An official GATE 2014 Score Card will be sent by Speed Post to the following candidates:
1.  All the candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers, and
2. All SC/ST/PwD candidates* whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their respective papers.
   * As per GATE 2014 candidate records.
3. For the papers CE, CS, EC, EE and ME, qualifying marks and score are based on "Normalized Marks".
