Dahi Handi Massacre!

Dahi Handi Massacre, India!

Dahi Handi (dahi: buttermilk, handi: earthen pot) or Govinda Sport is an Indian festival, celebrated every August, that involves making a human pyramid and breaking an earthen pot filled with buttermilk tied at a convenient height. This event is based on the legend of the child-god Krishna stealing butter. A participant in this festival is called agovinda or govinda pathak. It is mostly popular in the state of Maharashtra and Mumbai. It is part of the main festival Gokulashtami, which is known as Krishna Janmashtami in the rest of the country, and celebrates the birth of Krishna.

Some times, this festival does hurt!! Check this video out!!

Connection Timed Out Error while using Mobile Internet on PC using Tethering

Connection Timed Out Error while using Mobile Internet on PC using Tethering[Resolved]

Recently, I found out an issue which caused the internet used through mobile tethering to not let secure pages display on computer.

This is the scenario:
BSNL sim - with 3G internet pack inserted in Slot 2
Aircel sim - with 3G in Slot 1
Samsung Galaxy Duos.

While using I noticed the speed reduced and continuously disconnecting.

While the other sim I was using was working perfectly in the slot for SIM1.

So, I decided to switch the cards and that did it.

Switching my BSNL card to SIM1 Slot actually improved the speed and it worked fantastically.

Most Samsung mobiles have this issue. The secondary Sim Slot does good with 3G but not good enough.

So it is good to switch your primary 3G sim in slot 1 for best speeds.

With this speed, I was able to open all web pages on my computer along with secured pages.

TIP: Some times the secured pages won't open just because the time on your PC doesn't match with the time and date on the main google servers.

So, please do check if the time is correct on your PC just to make sure that is not the issue.
