Freedom 251 Website Crashes
The website http://freedom251.com which was the official website for the phone maker to sell its latest series of phone which is one of the cheapest phones ever made crashed at 5:55 AM on 18th February 2016.
The website was working till 5:54 AM today morning, however since the hype for the cheapest mobile was on, the load on the website would have increased dramatically. This would have lead to the sudden spike in overall traffic to the website. As such the website was not much attractive to look at and used http instead of secure https for the sale of the mobile.
While connecting to the website, it showed an error :"The requested resource could not be loaded because the server returned an error:
503 (?)" .

I tried to access the website through some proxy servers and it opened up, however it couldn't take the load and simply failed to open the buy page.
It would have been better if they would have used some cloud technologies and made the website little more elastic since the hype for the cheapest mobile phone was unsurprisingly high.

The surprising thing was that the actual company website http://ringingbells.co.in/ didn't even show a little detail about the phone Freedom 251.
